KNEAD TO RELAX
MASSAGE THERAPY
MASSAGE THERAPY

A therapeutic treatment designed to ease pain, soften tension, improve mobility, and support long-term wellbeing, this session can incorporate techniques like Brazilian lymphatic drainage and various relaxation techniques as needed.
Each session is tailored specifically for you — reflecting your body, your story, and the ways your system responds in the moment. Sometimes, we may work on an area that seems unrelated to where the pain resides, acknowledging that the body is a beautifully connected network. Discomfort often stems from areas far away from where it finally settles. By identifying these patterns, we can address the deeper causes rather than just the surface sensations, enhancing the effectiveness of your massage therapy experience.
Before diving into more focused muscle work, I prioritize settling the nervous system and gently warming the tissues, which fosters a sense of ease and readiness in the body. Throughout the treatment, the pressure adjusts in response to what your body requires rather than adhering to a fixed routine.
This connected, intuitive style of remedial massage is particularly effective for managing chronic tightness, headaches, stress, postural strain, and provides relief that is not only meaningful but also lasting and deeply restorative, complementing our comprehensive wellness services.
Brazilian lymphatic drainage is a specialized technique that gently stimulates the body’s natural pathways, starting with the activation of key lymphatic points and transitioning into slow, flowing strokes that facilitate the movement of lymph. This technique supports the body’s natural clearing processes and enhances overall wellness.
Clients often report feeling lighter, experiencing reduced puffiness, achieving clearer definition, and enjoying improved mental clarity as brain fog dissipates. Additionally, those in peri-menopause and menopause find greater comfort, as fluid retention and inflammation can fluctuate daily. Many also notice an increase in their overall wellbeing, underscoring the importance of healthy lymphatic flow in supporting the immune system.
This effective massage therapy addresses a variety of needs, including fluid retention, bloating, hormonal swelling, inflammation, sluggishness, and recovery after illness. Brazilian lymphatic drainage is particularly beneficial during pregnancy, through post-surgical healing, and for individuals managing lymphoedema, lipedema, or symptoms associated with peri-menopause and menopause. It is also favored by clients who focus on strength and muscle definition, as it aids in refining results and diminishing water retention.
Gentle yet impactful, Brazilian lymphatic drainage massage not only provides relaxation techniques but also offers a full-body reset that helps clients maintain a sense of health, balance, and overall wellness.
Relaxation massage therapy is a slow, soothing treatment designed to calm the nervous system, ease tension, and help the body shift out of stress and into deep rest. This style of massage, often paired with relaxation techniques like Brazilian lymphatic drainage, uses long, flowing strokes and gentle pressure to encourage the body to soften, the breath to deepen, and the mind to settle.
Each session is unhurried and intentional, creating a peaceful sensory experience that allows your whole system to unwind. The aim isn’t to work deeply into specific muscles, but rather to guide the body into a state where it can naturally release tightness, quiet mental chatter, and restore balance.
Relaxation massage is an ideal wellness service for anyone feeling overwhelmed, fatigued, or stressed, or simply in need of time to reset. It supports emotional wellbeing, improves sleep quality, reduces muscle tension, and helps regulate the body’s stress response — leaving you feeling grounded, calm, and deeply restored.
Pregnancy massage is a gentle, nurturing treatment designed to support your changing body throughout each stage of pregnancy. Utilizing relaxation techniques, such as client-led pressure and slow, soothing methods, this massage helps alleviate lower back discomfort, pelvic tension, and the aches that naturally occur as the body adapts to make space for your growing baby.
Incorporating brazilian lymphatic drainage for the lower legs and feet can relieve pressure, reduce heaviness, and provide comfort to tired muscles. This light lymphatic drainage may also assist in easing fluid retention and fostering a sense of lightness.
Positioning during the session is always guided by your stage of pregnancy and personal comfort. In early pregnancy, you may be able to lie face-down if your belly allows. As pregnancy progresses, treatments are performed side-lying, using supportive pillows and blankets, along with careful draping to ensure your comfort and modesty throughout the session. Every part of the treatment is shaped around helping you feel safe, relaxed, and deeply supported.
Pregnancy massage not only offers gentle relief but also enhances emotional calm and provides a moment of relaxation amidst a time of constant change — facilitating a balanced, comfortable, and cared-for experience as you move through your pregnancy.
Paediatric massage therapy offers a gentle, calming treatment designed to support growing bodies through the aches, tension, and sensory overwhelm that often accompany childhood. By using soft, slow pressure tailored to your child’s comfort, this massage helps ease tight muscles, soothe nervous system overload, and foster a sense of comfort and safety. Incorporating techniques like Brazilian lymphatic drainage, the massage can aid in reducing fluid retention, heaviness, or swelling, particularly beneficial for active kids or those who experience sensory fatigue.
Each session is carefully adapted to the child’s age, needs, and personality. Some children may prefer shorter, focused treatments, while others enjoy a full, relaxing experience. Areas such as lower legs, feet, back, shoulders, and arms can all be included based on the child's comfort. Special attention is given to positioning, ensuring that the child feels secure—whether they are lying face-down, face-up, or side-lying with pillows and blankets for support. Parents are encouraged to remain in the room, and the entire treatment is shaped around creating a safe, nurturing environment where the child feels relaxed, respected, and at ease.
Children’s massage can effectively support growing pains, muscle tension, sensory overload, anxiety, sleep difficulties, and overall wellness—providing a gentle, grounding experience that helps kids feel more comfortable in their bodies while incorporating essential relaxation techniques.

I’m Tammy — wife, daughter, sister, friend, and proudly both aunty and mum. These are the roles that define me, the ones I hold closest, and the ones that guide every part of who I am. Being a mum and an aunty is my greatest joy and my biggest priority, and the way I care for my family is the same way I care for every person who walks into my studio: gently, intentionally, and with my whole heart.
My journey into massage was shaped by motherhood and by my son’s disability journey. From the very beginning, his body needed comfort, regulation, and support. Massage became one of the few things that truly soothed him — helping his nervous system settle and giving him moments of ease in a world that often felt overwhelming. Those moments became my motivation. His needs became my direction. And slowly, this work became my calling.
Later, my own health issues led me to study lymphatic drainage more deeply. That curiosity ultimately helped uncover my son’s diagnosis of lymphoedema. It was a full‑circle moment that changed everything. The very modality I was drawn to for my own health became one of the most important tools for his. That experience ignited my passion for both remedial therapy and lymphatic drainage. This isn’t just something I learned — it’s something I lived.
Outside the studio, I’m a Pilates fanatic, an animal lover and the slightly unhinged lady who talks to her veggies like they’re part of the family. I love visiting the horses at my parents’ farm and watching our baby chickens scratch around their home. I’m deep in my farm‑life era and loving it.
All of my life experiences — motherhood, family, advocacy, learning, growing, and simply living — have brought me here. They’ve shaped the person I am and the therapist I’ve become. Today, Knead to Relax is a calm, nurturing studio in Regency Downs where families can soften, breathe, and feel supported. The way I treat is a blend of clinical knowledge, intuition, warmth, and lived experience — everything I’ve gathered along the way. Whether you’re managing pain, recovering from surgery, navigating lymphatic concerns, or simply needing a moment to reset, my intention is always to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and genuinely cared for.
It’s a privilege to walk beside you on your wellbeing journey.

Hi, I’m Max! I’m the resident good boy here at Knead to Relax. I used to be the Chief of Security, but apparently greeting every single person with tail wags, smiles, and uncontained enthusiasm isn’t “security protocol”… so I was gently reassigned. I’m much better suited to my new role as Chief of Greetings anyway.
I will always come to greet you at the door — it’s my favourite part of the job. And if I’m really lucky, Mum might even let me trot out to the car to say hi, especially if I know you well. Familiar faces make me very happy.
But, I also understand that not everyone wants a dog greeting (even a very handsome, very polite one like me). My mum runs an allergy‑aware and sensory‑friendly space, so if you’re not a big dog person, or your little human feels unsure around dogs, just let her know. I’m very happy to head to my cosy spot in another part of the house where I can snooze, supervise from afar, and stay well out of the way. I don’t mind — I’m extremely adaptable… especially if snacks are involved.
Whether I’m welcoming you from the doorway or quietly napping somewhere comfy, my mission is simple: make your visit feel a little brighter — even if it’s from a distance.
